New technology enables Accenture Duck Creek Policy clients to add collaborative underwriting capabilities at lower TCO

BEDFORD, MA, October 28, 2014FirstBest® Systems, Inc., provider of insurance software solutions for American and global insurance carriers, today announced FirstBest Dynamic Synchronization™, a new technology that enables carriers to access Accenture Duck Creek’s product definitions within the FirstBest UMS™ underwriting workstation. The pre-integrated solution will enable carriers to reduce the cost of implementation and maintenance, improve the customer experience and accelerate the delivery of new and changed products to their customers.

“Tight integration between best-of-breed solutions yields high value to insurers that want to use the best automation for the job at hand,” said Mike Fitzgerald, Senior Analyst with Celent.

FirstBest Dynamic Synchronization accesses Accenture Duck Creek’s product definitions, screen/field behaviors and workflows to drive related behaviors within the FirstBest UMS™ underwriting workstation. FirstBest Dynamic Synchronization lets business analysts create product definitions, behaviors and workflows within Duck Creek Policy for use in both the policy system and the FirstBest UMS underwriting workstation, creating a single point of change that can result in increased efficiency and fewer errors.
