Drivers with Lyft are getting a new perk. Allstate Roadside Services (ARS), one of the nation's leading providers of roadside assistance, is announcing it is offering 24/7 pay-per-use roadside assistance to drivers on the Lyft platform, if they find themselves needing help while on the road.
"We're very excited and honored to be selected as Lyft's new U.S. roadside assistance provider," said Pam Dufour, president of Allstate Roadside Services. "We're committed to delivering exceptional service for all drivers of Lyft and their roadside assistance needs."
While no one wants to face a breakdown, it's best to be prepared. Drivers will be able to contact Allstate for a tow, tire change, fuel delivery, lockout or battery jump.
