Alex, I agree with your comments and my simple response to these marketing folks is that if potential buyers are not aware of their company, the investments made in their website are minimized. Another benefit some vendors may not realize is to Desiree's point above. Carriers want to acquire a good amount of independent information on vendors before making a buying decision. They want to know what their peers' experience has been with vendors under consideration. Market Luminary offers the opportunity for an independent view of that carriers experience with a vendor. This is something that would prove difficult for a vendor to have on their own website.
